Yoga with Jules
So this is me…..
Hi there! My name is Giulia (pronounced ‘Julia) more commonly known by my mother’s nickname for me, Jules. I am a passionate yoga teacher with a focus on children’s yoga. My journey with yoga began in my early twenties when a friend returned from India transformed by the practice of yoga and meditation. However, it wasn’t until many years later, when I moved to Australia from London, that I attended my first Vinyasa yoga class and fell in love with the practice.
Through the years, I went through some life-changing events that I struggled to deal with until I turned to yoga and meditation for support. These practices helped me become mentally stronger and understand that life is to be lived to the fullest. I soon realized that I wanted to help others and pursued a career in childcare. As I learned more about children’s development and the benefits of yoga and meditation, I started introducing these practices to the preschool kids I taught.
After completing my 200h Ashtanga Yoga teacher training in India, I returned to London and, as the pandemic hit, started working as a nanny. However, my passion for yoga and kids grew stronger and I eventually founded Jules Kids Yoga, teaching yoga to children in schools and the local community.
I believe yoga, meditation, and mindfulness are essential for younger generations to learn how to slow down and be present in our busy, information-heavy world. I love watching children grow in confidence, become more self-aware, and develop resilience through the practice of yoga.
In addition to being a certified Ashtanga and Kids yoga teacher, I have also expanded my knowledge to include Pregnancy and Yin yoga. I am excited to continue my journey of helping others find their passion and inner peace through the practice of yoga.
